THE CHALLENGE
Most brands have the data. Almost none have it in a usable form.

EU regulations like ESPR and AGEC don't just require brands to have compliance data — they require it to be structured, verifiable, and attached to a specific product at a specific point in the supply chain. A GOTS certificate in someone's inbox doesn't satisfy this. A lab report in a shared drive folder doesn't either.

The problem isn't that outdoor brands lack the information. It's that the information lives in the wrong places, in the wrong formats, owned by the wrong people. Getting it out requires manual effort that scales badly across a product catalogue of any real size.

Structured requests
Send data requests to suppliers tied to specific SKUs. Each request specifies exactly what data is needed — material composition, substance declarations, certificates — with no ambiguity.
Suppliers know what to submit and where. No back-and-forth.
Supplier portal
Suppliers submit directly through a structured portal — no Passr account required. Certificates, lab reports, and declarations are attached to the correct product record automatically.
Data lands in the right place without manual sorting.
Verification and flags
Submitted data is checked against regulation requirements. Missing fields, expired certificates, and SVHC substance thresholds above 0.1% w/w are flagged before a passport is generated.
Compliance gaps surface before they become audit failures.
Audit trail
Every data submission is timestamped and attributed to the submitting supplier. The full data chain — what was submitted, by whom, when — is retained for audit purposes.

In force

Mandates Digital Product Passports for textiles sold in the EU. Destruction ban applies to large brands since July 2026; textile DPP delegated act expected 2027.

France & Denmark PFAS
In force

National bans require certified lab testing verifying zero added PFAS or total fluorine below 50 mg F/kg for textiles, footwear, and trims.

EU SCIP Database
In force

Mandatory ECHA notification for articles containing SVHCs above 0.1% weight-by-weight.

France AGEC
In force

Requires verified supplier data on material composition, recycled content, and country-by-country traceability.
